On this episode of BroadwayRadio's "Tell Me More," Matt Tamanini talks to two-time Tony nominee Brad Oscar, who is currently starring in the Off-Broadway premiere of “Broadway Bounty Hunter.” Brad earned his Tony nominations for his roles as Franz Liebkind and Nostradamus in The Producers and Something Rotten respectively, but has been seen in dozens of shows on and Off-Broadway and around the country for decades.
In the chat, Brad talks about the fact that this is the first time that he’s ever really played the villain in a show, the benefits of being on this side of a long career, and his two incredible leading ladies, Annie Golden and Anne. L. Nathan.
Down-on-her-luck actress Annie has just about had it with showbiz, when along comes a gig no one could have predicted: the opportunity to become a real-life, Kung Fu-fighting bounty hunter. Suddenly this woman of a certain age is going from bad auditions on the streets of New York to beating up bad guys in the jungles of South America – and discovering her true badass identity along the way.
