Why support BroadwayRadio?

BroadwayRadio has been covering theater since 2009 — independently, week after week, through every up and down the industry has thrown at us. We're not owned by a studio, a producer's office, or a hedge fund. The editorial belongs to the people making the shows, and the audience that listens.

Plus is how we keep doing this. Member revenue lets us pay producers and hosts properly, cover more of the work that matters, and resist the pressure to chase advertiser-friendly stories at the expense of honest ones.

If BroadwayRadio is part of how you understand the theater landscape, Plus is how you keep it that way.

FAQ

When does Plus launch?

We don't have a public date yet. Sign up for notification above and we'll email you when we do.

How much will Plus cost?

Pricing isn't finalized. The plan is multiple tiers so people who want to support at different levels can — a standard monthly tier, a discounted annual option, and a higher tier for supporters who want to chip in extra.

Will I need to sign in to listen?

For the Plus feed itself, yes — that's how the member-only delivery works. The public BroadwayRadio shows will continue to be freely available without an account.

I'm already supporting BroadwayRadio on Patreon — what happens?

Existing Patreon supporters will be rolled into Plus at launch with credit for the time you've been supporting us. We'll reach out directly when we have specifics.

Will Plus include the BroadwayRadio app?

The app and Plus will work together — the cleanest Plus listening experience will be inside the app, though Plus members will also have a standard RSS feed they can use in any podcast player that supports authenticated feeds.
