On today’s episode of "Tell Me More," Matt speaks the most respected man in entertainment awards journalism, The Hollywood Reporter's Scott Feinberg. On Aug. 7, Feinberg published an article entitled “How Do You Solve a Problem Like the Tonys?” in which he discussed the confusion that has surrounded the Tony Awards since Broadway went dark on March 12.
In the piece, Feinberg writes about the lack of communication from the American Theatre Wing and Broadway League on the Tonys' front, what impact the Tonys would have on a Broadway that will likely be shutdown for at least a year, and three options currently being considered for how to proceed with the awards ceremony.
Matt and Scott also discuss what Broadway could look like upon its return, the upcoming Emmy Awards, and much more.
